The farm was started by Sarah Richards who planted the first nine lavender plants on site in 1998. The production planting started in 2000, and every year since then more has been added. The farm has 8.75 certified organic acres, an amazing view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and an annual "Artists Invasion" festival that many people enjoy during the last weekend in July.

The new shop in the town of Coupeville is opening the summer of 2012. There you will find a small gift shop, a window into making things with lavender (you can watch or attend classes), taste lavender in baked goods, ice cream, and lavender beverages. And you can see how art and farming intersect.
